Support a Single Mom's Journey to Independence

Hi friends!

We know how strong our community is so I'm asking for your help for a friend. Many of you know Kate Campbell, but most likely don't know her story/recent situation.

About a year ago she was in a terrible car accident which resulted in pretty severe spinal injuries. She went from being an independent single mom working a full time job and doing great things to being wheelchair bound, has a ton of nerve damage from waist down and is really having a difficult time doing simple tasks you and I take for granted.

Luckily she's having a pretty intense spinal surgery in about a month & a half. She will be bed bound while she recovers.

She has been unable to work, has sustained multiple falls trying to do her basic activities (dressing, showering etc) and multiple hospitalizations l. She's trying to get disability as well as utilize every community resource we can find.

What she needs is help so she doesn't lose her apartment and end up with no place to live, let alone a safe clean place to recover from surgery, learn to walk, and get her independence back.

Times are tough for us all but if you can spare anything, it will help. Additionally, she is open to any and all resources, part time remote work opportunities, etc.
