My name is David Frankenthal. I am writing this on behalf of my friend Jason Moses:
Jason Moses was 4 years old (1980) when he was first diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. After 2 years of intense treatment, he was left with severe radiation sickness and other complications.
Nevertheless, with his immense strength of spirit and the support of his family, he survived into adulthood. However, his first bout of cancer eventually led to his second bout, this time in the form of leiomyosarcoma in the colon (2012), which is even deadlier than colon cancer.
As a result, Jason is today struck with repeated bouts of lengthy hospitalization due to the severity of the damage to his intestinal system, including a 6-month spell in 2022. He now has to live with a permanent ostomy bag. In addition to his own numerous medical issues, Jason is taking care of his ill-stricken elderly father.
I have known Jason for at least 16 years. He has been a major contributor in time and effort to his local Synagogue and Community. On countless occasions Jason has supported the Minyan, helped out with special events, and performed numerous chores in the building. He also visits other sick friends, helps with elderly people, and often does odd jobs for other people in need.
Jason has been there for us when we needed him. Now it's our opportunity to be there for him in his time of need. Anything you can do to help with this fundraiser is hugely appreciated. Thank you so much.
