Hi there, this is all new to me. Never did I think I would hear the words you have cancer especially at only 39......But here we are.
Back in January, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. From that point on, it's been a crazy ride to say the least. I am currently going through chemotherapy for 5 months, then I will do a few months of radiation followed by hormonal management. The chemotherapy regimen they have me on is absolutely grueling, I struggle sleeping I have horrible RSL from this I've lost all of my hair some days then mental end of all this can be to much or overwhelming on top of all of the other symptoms chemo can throw at you , it's a constant battle I wish I want a part of but here we are !
This has absolutely been one of the hardest times in my life, and financially it hasn't been the easiest either I've always worked but at the start or being diagnosed I have not been able to work due to the chemotherapy, which is a really hard pill for me to swallow Mentally, the toll that this has taken has not been easy either. I've never cried so much in my life, but I keep reminding myself that I'm fighting for my life. Hoping and praying that by what I'm doing, at some point this will just be a curveball in the road.
I have good days bad days and all of the in between my life right now sadly is ran by treatment but the people I have in my corner help me on those days get thru I thank you all for that .
Thank you to everyone who's taking the time out to read this and donate it means so much.
Much love ,
