In late September, early October I will be heading to Orlando Florida to attend a YWAM training school. If you don’t know what that is it is a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) which is a unique program designed to equip individuals for a life of discipleship and mission work. YWAM’s DTS typically lasts around 5-6 months and consists of two main phases: lecture phase and outreach phase. During the lecture phase, students receive teaching on various topics such as the character of God, missions, evangelism, and more. The outreach phase allows students to apply what they have learned by going out into the world to serve in practical ways and share their faith with others.
I have been involved with missions since a kid seeing my parents are missionaries. My parents started a missions organization affiliated with YWAM KC called 111 Global and I have traveled with them since a young age. I have almost always knew I would do something with ywam and I am so excited to start working my way towards that dream.
I am hoping to raise up to $10,000 to fully cover the expenses of the DTS. $3,995 by September and then followed by up to $6,500 which depends on outreach location. Please keep me and this goal in your prayers and if you feel inclined to give towards this literally anything would help.
