My little Mimi recently had emergency surgery where her tail was amputated. She has been a bright light in my life for the last three years and always brings me and her sister, Macaroon, so much love and joy. I am so devastated that this happened. It was a very hard decision, but after thorough discussion with the vet, consulting with other cat experts, and some online research this had to be done to ensure she lived a long, happy, and healthy life after she healed without further pain and complications.
I am happy to say that she is healing so well and we are past the point of anything else going wrong. The financial toll, however, is still deeply affecting us. Unfortunately this emergency occurred at a time when I’ve already been experiencing significant financial strain. If that wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t be asking for help from my loved ones and community. The surgery cost $1250 and we're raising funds to cover it. I hate asking for money, but I know that when I bounce back and progress I’ll pay it forward. If you have the ability to and feel compelled, please contribute to her surgery fund. Every dollar means a lot, but if you are unable to at this time every kind thought and message of love and healing for her is still greatly appreciated.
Please donate or share #HelpMimi.
