Support during cancer treatment

I am writing on behalf of Corinne.

During our vacation at the beginning of October Corinne started having stomach pain on top of her sciatica. Upon coming home, we believed that it could be due to the pain medications over time hurting her stomach lining. Or it was an issue with her gallbladder. On October 26th, during a radiology appointment we received the difficult news that she has a 4 CM tumor on her pancreas.

Since then, she has been going in and out of the ER and hospital visits for tests and pain management. We are still waiting for the biopsy results and a few more tests but at this time the CT scan is showing no metastasis elsewhere but does have elevated cancer markers in her blood. As a result she has been provided an oncology team to manage her case. She is expected to start chemo within the next two weeks with 5 chemo treatments, one every other week, to shrink the tumor followed likely Whipple procedure, followed by more chemo. The recovery estimate is 8-9 months.

Due to her health condition, she has stopped working and is saving her energy. As a result, she has no income and is asking for any help financially financial help to assist in paying her bills and living expenses. Asking for help, especially money, is a very vulnerable ask for Corinne and yet the reality is that there will be a significant need that she cannot fill during this time. Anything that you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
