Essie Mae

Hi my name is Rasha and I am Essie’s oldest grandchild. Unexpectedly Essie Lafortune, was called home on Thursday, September 9th,2021 to be with her beloved husband. Unfortunately One of her granddaughters found that she had been called home. Earlier this year she had battles with COVID-19 and it left her beautiful body fighting to give us the Essie we all know and loved. 

Essie was a beautiful person filled with so much love and admiration. She was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She always gave so much love and cared for those who were blessed to know her. She loved to cook, knit, spend time with her grandkids/ family and most importantly loved god. So many great memories we keep in our hearts. 

We are asking for any donations, that you can give or even just to share this page to help us as we are devastated by her sudden loss. We understand nothing will bring her back, but we do not want this to be an additional burden to our family. We want her service to be as beautiful as she was inside and out.
