Kato is an 8.5 year old husky who has been fighting for his health for the past year. He has been diagnosed with Valley Fever, which is a rare fungus that attacks the lungs and heart causing chronic fatigue and pain in dogs. This fungus went misdiagnosed in Kato, giving it a head start to cause him bone lesions and heart problems.

My best friend Ani and her boyfriend, Daniel, are doing everything in their power to help Kato but the costs to do so have piled up considerably. If you can, please help us help Kato. He is still a young dog with a full life to live. He is reacting so well to the medication and regime they know have him on - we know he can fight this! Every little bit helps and is appreciated more than you know.
