Support David's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
February 26th update: David and Molly are SO appreciative of everyone’s support. They are overwhelmed with this level of generosity and although they are hesitant to accept these generous gifts, the road to recovery is just beginning.
David is getting stronger each day with his PT and OT program at rehab and hopes to return home next week. The doctors are confident his neck has been stabilized but will need many months of additional rehab to regain mobilization due to the spinal cord injury.
Most importantly, David IS be able to walk again, (and is doing so with assistance now), which is a miracle in itself due to the severity and location of the fracture. Your help providing with some of the financial burden will greatly assist the recovery process.
Thank you!!
As many of you may know David fell recently at work and has been in the hospital since last Wednesday. He had to undergo emergency spinal surgery and has had complications. He is starting to make slow progress every day and is hoping to move to a local inpatient rehab facility. Though he is expected to make a full recovery it is going to be a long and difficult road for the Toothaker family.
David has a wonderful, hardworking, caring wife and 2 sons who care for him very much.
David has faced many challenges and has overcome so much. We are asking for any amount of support to help David and his family during this difficult time.
Thank you in advance
