Hi guys, it's Eoin. The majority of people in my life know that I am transgender, and understand how incredible of a step getting gender-affirming surgery is for me. I came out aged 12, and started on hormone treatment over 18 months ago. This surgery will mean everything to me, and let me do so many things that I feel unable to currently. It's no secret that these kinds of things are extremely expensive, and I have just paid the 50% deposit of nearly £6,000. The cost of the surgery is already high, but I also have to pay for travel and accommodation in London. I work part time while studying and save any money that I can, but anything that anybody would be kind enough to help out would mean the world to me. This is a life-changing step and I am grateful to everyone in my life more than they can know. Thank you all for reading!
