Kick Cancer To The Curb

Donation protected
My sister's name is Jennifer Sykes. She is 37 and a single mother of two fast-growing boys! Ethan is 13, and Braden is 11. Two days before Christmas of 2016 she found out that she has stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. This is the most aggressive type of breast cancer there is, and is very hard to treat. She started Chemo in January and thought her last treatment would be May 26th, 2017. She found out that the chemo did not work. Not only did the lump not shrink, but it looks as though there may be some positive nodes surrounding it as well. She will be having a double mastectomy on July 7, and with no time to feel even a little better they will be starting another round of chemo and possibly radiation 4 weeks after surgery. As if this wasn't worrisome enough, she also has to worry that she may be newly unemployed. She is a GREAT biology teacher and has been working hard through her first timeouts of chemo, but her employment contract has ended. There is a very real possibility it will not be renewed in the fall due to unforeseen circumstances. So, we are humbly asking that people please donate what they can to help her get through this hardship. All donations received will be used toward medical bills, food, living expenses, and anything else she may need to cover while she is fighting this battle. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
