April Phillips

On January 8th, my Mom, April, was involved in a head on collision. She spent several days in the Trauma Surgery ICU unit before being moved to the step down unit to continue her trauma care. We are unsure at this time how long she will be in the hospital or how many more surgeries will need to be done. Needless to say, the recovery will be long and hard.

She was between jobs as she was preparing for her insurance licensing she was to start this upcoming week. Due to the switch of jobs her medical insurance expired in November.

She now will not be able to work for several months. Her car, as you can imagine, was totaled. Her savings will be wiped completely out with all of the medical bills and rehabilitation she will have to endure.

We are at a loss as to how she will pay all of her living expenses during this time.

I am praying this campaign can help her stay afloat until she is able to get back on her feet and start her new career.
