42 rescued pit bulls still need our help!

In late March of this year, Concordia sheriff's deputies arrested the owner of 42 pit bulls, charging him with more than 40 counts of cruelty to animals.

Our Humane Society worked closely with the sheriff's office and other humane agencies to ensure the dogs were seized peoperly and moved to a safe, clean, and secure location.

Our group also agreed to raise funds to fix each of the 42 dogs and provide for their care until they're adopted.
