4100km east coast bicycle ride

My name is Benjamin Toplis. on the 24th of August I will be starting a 4100 km bicycle ride from Melbourne , Australia to Cairns , Australia , all the way up the east coast. I will be bikepacking which means I will be wild camping and carrying all of my equipment on my bike.

I will be raising money for the rural fire service to help to bring awareness and combat wild fires around australia. 2019 - 2020 the fires burnt an estimated 24.3 million hectares (243,000 square kilometres), destroyed over 3,000 buildings (including 2,779 homes), and killed at least 34 people.
