40k in Feb for MS Therapy Centre
As most of my family & friends know, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in September.
I was almost completely paralysed as the onset of my MS was so sudden and severe. Since then, I have spent most of the time in a wheelchair and housebound.
I was determined to get better and try to get my life back as much as possible but faced huge waiting times with the NHS. I have been trying to do things at home to help myself and am gradually learning how to walk again.
I then found the MS Therapy Centre in Leicester who have been a life line to me. I was accepted straight away and have been having physio therapy as well as oxygen therapy at their centre, both of which are supporting and progressing my recovery.
It is their 40 Year Anniversary this year, I have therefore decided to help raise funds and I am going to walk 40k in February.
Although this doesn’t seem very far, this is going to be one of the most challenging things I have done since being diagnosed.
Your donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
