Glory Konecny is a trailblazer in women's wrestling from Billings, MT., currently in her Senior year wrestling for Southern Oregon University. Glory grew up on the local mats paving the way for the tremendous growth in girls' local, high school and state wrestling. She is the first female from Billings to receive a wrestling scholarship. Glory is required to have a hometown sponsor as part of her team's fundraising campaign this year. These funds go toward gear and travel expenses. It is challenging to find a local business to sponsor a college team/athlete in Oregon, so I'm reaching out to her local supporters to pool resources and be her collective hometown sponsor. Glory has been a great representative of our hometown and state as a collegiate athlete. In addition to her training, she has also had 2 to 3 jobs, including her work-study and given back to local clubs volunteering at camps etc... as she in able. I know she has inspired many people and changed many hearts over the years, and I am asking you to join me in helping support her through this final push. Glory has received many state and national accolades over her career and needs your help continuing her battle for excellence! I know that if everyone who has ever loved, coached, watched, cheered or been inspired by Glory chips in even a little, we can stick this goal for her!!!
