Hello my name is Ezra and I’m reaching out to you for help to get back to hiking and playing.
I'm told I need TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery to repair my torn ACL.
I've been having trouble eating and sleeping, and worried how this may be permanent if we cannot afford the procedure. After calling a few orthopedic doctors, TPLO surgeries can cost as much as $7,000, and my owners are hoping to raise $4,000 to cover the costs. This will cover my X-rays, consultation, medication, and procedure.
What is TPLO surgery?
The TPLO surgery is a specialized procedure that involves reshaping the bones in her knee to stabilize the joint after an ACL tear. It's a common surgery for dogs who suffer from this kind of injury. Without it, her condition could worsen.
Ezra is a mix Pyrenees with the most courageous and loving spirit. She’s always been the protector of the family—loyal and fierce when it counts. At home, she’s goofy with a love for chasing bumblebees and winking. We want nothing more than to see her back to her happy, playful self—racing through the park, splashing in the water, and sniffing after our local doggies
We are grateful for any kind of help, whether it’s sharing this page with others, or even sending us words of advice or guidance on affordable treatment options. We are truly grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s financial or home care advice for Ez.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Ezra’s story!
