40 x 40 Shannon's 40th Birthday Fundraiser!

Dear friends,

As I write this, I'm filled with gratitude thinking about my 15 years living in Guatemala. I moved here as a 25-year old, not knowing back then that this place would become my home. Fast forward to today, and in just 2 weeks, I'll celebrate my 40th birthday, and I want to use this occasion to raise funds for the Community Center in Zone 3, Guatemala City!

As you may know, we recently opened our Center, and it's been a dream come true. So many years working with the community to build a safe space, raising funds and training community members to take leadership of the programs! In the last few weeks, we received over 750 sign ups to join our Community programs!

My fundraising goal is $4,000. To achieve this, I need 40 friends to donate any amount with a 4 in it: $4, $40, $44, $400, or $444 for my 40th Birthday!

Here's the twist: if we reach or exceed our $4,000 goal, I'll livestream a Breakdance class at the Community Center. You'll see our talented dancers in action.
