Like all of our friends in the service/hospitality industry, our dining room is currently closed to the public in response to COVID-19. We are currently serving the community with take-out, but have seen a big dip in sales, and the staff we can keep is seeing a huge cut in hours. We are a small team of 9 employees and with rent and bills approaching soon, stress is piling.
First and foremost, we are looking to help our staff and their families. All donations will be divvied up between them. Any little bit can help are hopeful to see you guys on the other side of this :)
Things everyone can do in the meanwhile to support the particularly vulnerable restaurant industry:
1. Continue to support by placing to go orders with local Austin restaurants.
2. Consider purchasing gift cards that can be used for take out or when doors reopen.
3. Call your Representatives and Senators and ask that independent businesses be part the federal stimulus plan. You can connect to the Capitol switchboard at [phone redacted] .
