40 for JT
Donation protected
Tomorrow is my 40th birthday and as much as many of my friends have wanted to celebrate this occasion for me, I have not been as excited to do so. Today I decided what I would like to do for my birthday is start a fundraiser for my nephew, JT, and call it ‘40 for JT.’ Instead of flowers, drinks, cards, fancy dinners, or cake, I would rather my friends and family who are able and willing to give $40 for JT. This is the only way I can see any good coming of me having to turn this age. ;) JT was severely injured in an accident Wednesday evening. He is currently at UNMC. There are a lot of questions we don’t have the answers to yet including what happened that night and his prognosis. In a world full of uncertainty, there are two things we can count on; 1. The power of prayer and 2. The bills will come. If you aren’t in a position to donate towards this birthday wish for me that’s ok! But what I will ask instead is for prayers. 40 prayers, 40 days of prayer, 40 minutes of prayer; any way you want to look at it or think of it, it all helps. The power of prayer is real. And just as real as the power of prayer is the fact that there will be bills to pay for JT’s care. The money raised here will go directly to Donnie and Kim for the expenses/bills they decide to put it to. Thank you for your support in any way you are able to give it!
