Hi my name is Madisyn and I am currently 14 years old!

I have been given the opportunity for a once in a lifetime adventure: a 4 week expedition in Cambodia

Cambodia remains one of the poorest countries in the world. Seasonal food shortages and lack of employment opportunities leave rural people vulnerable to continued and increased poverty.

The expedition will take place in the summer of 2026 & is organised by Camps International.

Whilst on the expedition I will be living alongside the local community and will play an active part in vital project work to improve the lives of rural communities such as constructing water storage pots, improving infrastructure at the local school and refurbishing community buildings.

The cost of the expedition is £4,980.

To raise the funds for the expedition I will be selling dog treats & accessories, doing hair tinsel extensions as well as hosting coffee mornings and table top sales.

All of the money raised for this expedition goes back into the projects which are designed to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, working towards tackling global challenges on a local scale.

The projects focus on eight key areas of sustainable development:

*Housing and welfare

*Food and water security

*Healthcare and sanitation

*Education and training

*Sustainable livelihoods

*Wildlife conservation

*Environmental protection

*Animal welfare

Please help in raising the much needed funds to help towards the projects in Cambodia & to help get me over there to help within the community!

Thank you very much
