Hi everyone my name is Sarah and I never thought I would be writing something like this, but life can change very quickly.

On Friday 6th March I suffered three heart attacks and was rushed to hospital. We later discovered that I had also suffered another heart attack on Sunday 22nd February without even realising it had happened a few friends was around to help me and that I really appreciate and will always remember.

It has been a huge shock and a difficult time. I’ve already had emergency treatment and stents fitted, but doctors have told me I will need another procedure in around four weeks to place an additional stent.

Since this happened, my mobility and energy levels have changed a lot. Walking long distances is much harder and I get tired very quickly. Staying independent and being able to get out is really important to me, especially as I enjoy covering events and sharing what’s happening with the community.

Because of this, I’m hoping to raise funds for a lightweight electric mobility scooter with an automatic folding feature. This would allow me to transport it easily and still be able to get out, film, and stay connected with the community without pushing my health too far.

The funds raised will go directly towards purchasing the scooter and helping me stay mobile during recovery.
