4 Aidan's Healing & Recovery

Aidan is currently in the 3rd week of recovery from major gender affirming surgery. Their recovery was more difficult than expected, including an ER visit. They are finding it difficult to get back on their feet—especially since they just had an unexpected move only 3 weeks before finding out they got approved for the surgery. Slowly, Aidan is returning to work, but not at a pace that would allow them to afford the cost of living and pay their bills that support their living. One of their accounts is currently in the negatives, and their venmo was hacked for $800 just today. All this is in addition to having multiple payments coming up—not including rent. 


This GoFundMe is urgently being created on their behalf by close friends concerned with their well being. We hope that this can be a small fund for their care and recovery as we figure out next steps and healing—physically and mentally. Not to mention, their initial GoFundMe for their top surgery and recovery fund was not met. We believe that this fund will cover rent, therapy costs, car insurance, and other medical bills and appointments as they are currently uninsured and paying out of pocket for all medical payments that they receive. We are hoping that this fund will help them get back on their feet so they are able to feel secure and take more time and space to process and renavigate this harsh, capitalist reality.
