4-6 weeks No Short Term Disability& Unemployment

After exhausting all sick and vaction time at work from symptoms and testing procedures including my recent biopsy with D&C, it was necessary to have surgery to remove an organ with benign tumors and Adenomyosis causing life threatening blood loss without pay. My job advised there is no short term disability benefits. During my 4-6 week recovery period this places our family in a really tough spot as the primary household income picking which bills to pay with what is left. We are all really working hard to find a solution as I recover but this is currently placing us on the verge of serious and irrevocable financial hardship.
