Hello and thank you for visiting the fundraiser
for our son Giovanni.
Giovanni is 13 years old and is severely Autistic, Level 3 on the DSM5. He also has diagnosis of
Apraxia, Aphasia, ADHD, DCD and toileting
problems. Gio, as everyone calls him, is
nonverbal and requires 24/7 - 365 care. He will
require the same amount of care for the rest of
his life.
We are trying to raise money to have him
treated at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama
with a very highly successful treatment.
Giovanni has been accepted after careful review of his medical records and is a good candidate
for the treatment. With much research and a
personal referral from a family who is in the
same situation and had their son treated there
with amazing results, we are hopeful that stem
cell therapy could greatly improve Gio’s quality
of life.
Gio is a twin and his brother, Raimonde, was so
excited when he found out he was a great
candidate and accepted that he offered his
piggy bank and Christmas money to help pay for his brothers treatment! He said he wants to be
able to play and talk to his brother. He also asked
about doing a fundraiser. So here we are.
