Hi everyone.

A few weeks ago, our fraternity brother Nic had a terrible accident on campus while riding his electric scooter, resulting in severe facial trauma, a fractured jaw, recessed teeth and gums, as well as broken hands. He was taken to two emergency rooms and ended up at Mission Hospital Trauma in Asheville, where he underwent surgery to repair his jaw fracture and reset his gums and teeth as best as possible. He spent a week in Trauma ICU before being released for recovery.

It's not been easy as he has metal appliances secured to his upper and lower gums with screws and bolts, and a metal plate with screws and bolts in his upper jaw. The pain he's suffered in addition to being on a liquid syringe diet, has been difficult. It's resulted in him missing college classes, exams etc. which as brough an extreme amount of stress to Nic and his family. So as brothers and friends, we are coming together to help Nic in his time of need to assist with paying his medical bills and some associated costs with school.

His family is very private when it comes to this situation, and when we approached them to set up a GoFundMe, they were very overwhelmed and were very accepting and appreciative. We hope you will donate to help Nic so he can continue his recovery and return for his fall semester without the worry of his finances, etc.
