Jim and Jackie Sample Fundraiser

This GoFundMe page is in support of Jim and Jackie Sample, longtime residents of Groveland, CA.  Jim suffered a very serious and painful injury on Saturday, April 6 requiring extensive surgery for a spiral femur fracture and, as his surgeon stated, "Jim’s life as he knows it changed in a moment." Jim and Jackie have been huge supporters of the Groveland community. Jim is everyone’s “go to” person for home repairs and often drops everything to help out a resident with a home emergency.  He has cooked turkeys for the community Thanksgiving dinner for many years.  Jackie worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Groveland for years; sang with the Pine Cone Singers; performed with Sierra Sounds; and creates beautiful jewelry that she sells at the various events in town and all over California. She is always willing to donate one of a kind pieces to organizations for their fund-raising events. 

Jim will be immobile for many months, and his rehabilitation will require extensive physical therapy. As a result, Jim and Jackie had to cancel all scheduled work events into the future. Although Jim and Jackie would never ask for help, we are asking others to consider donating to help support these loving and generous Groveland friends through this very difficult time.
