Sincere Spann is a happy, energetic four year old full of personality. As young as he is, this little guy is such a big helper. Affection is not a stranger to him and he has more than enough love to go around. This is Sincere's first year of school in the pre-k and he couldn't have been more excited.
On August 11, 2019, Sincere's life changed forever. While visiting with family members, Sincere choked on a grape. He was rushed to a local Kaiser office where he arrived without a heartbeat and was assisted for over 20 minutes unconscious the entire time before the grape was then dislodged. Ambulance transported Sincere to Scottish Rite(CHOA) where they determined that he suffered severe brain damage due to the extensive time with lack of oxygen. Doctors have said that he will not walk or talk again in his vegetative state.
Sincere is currently continuing to put up a great fight for his life. Reciprocating the love and strength from his mother, grandmother, aunt, and a host of family and friends right by his side for support. (Ga6:2)
Sincere is being raised by his single mother Shay, who works day in and out, multiple jobs to provide him with all of his needs. Shay is by her "ONLY" child side 24/7 since this tragedy occurred. Due to the unfortunate circumstances, Sincere's mother is currently unable to work in this tragic time. This event has brought upon an immense amount of emotional distress.
Our Sincere is loved by many. Anyone whom crossed paths with him fell in love. He's so full of life and has a ton of more living to do. Let us help raise money for Sincere and Shay to assist them with their life expenses and basic necessities. Sincere’s grandmother Stephanie Spann has been designated as the beneficiary over this campaign, as she will be alongside with Jushaylian helping to organize and balance life with everyday expenses and continuous care for Sincere.
