Who are we?
The 5th Southgate Scout group are a North London based groups comprised of Scouts, Cubs and Beavers who provide weekly activities for children and young adults for everything scout related. The last year has disrupted our normal fundraising activities in the form of our annual fireworks display which we had to cancel. The funds from this normally go towards the running of the day to day costs of the group and go toward our annual week-long camping trip we provide for young people.
What are we doing?
In order to raise money, we are going to attempt the National Three Peak Challenge on the 9th to the 10th of July in order to raise money for the group! We will be climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. This is a total of 26 miles ascending and descending over 3000m's.
