Dear friends,
As the war in Ukraine continues, a horrible humanitarian catastrophe is brewing.
My hometown Kharkiv became Putin’s Stalingrad. He is determined to ruin it and bring its people to their knees. The infrastructure is severely damaged, electricity, central heating and water supply are all affected. To make things worse, the weather is about to get much colder.
My friends in Kharkiv are working days and nights desperately trying to help everyone in need. Thousands of people lost everything since their homes were destroyed. They need basic things: shelter, food, water, warm clothes, and medical supplies…
They are asking for our help.
In the first days of the war, I was reluctant to tell people how to donate because I didn't know how the funds would be used and who they would actually go to. Now I was able to contact my good friend, who is one of the organizers of humanitarian help in my home town. He asked for my help. He assured me that the money would not be used for weapons or any other means of killing other people, only humanitarian needs.
It will be wired directly to him as it comes in. He promised me that every dollar would be accounted for, and he personally would provide reports to me, including photos and videos on how it was spent. You will be able to see those people who you helped. I will do my best to report to you how the money was spent.
I am sure there are tons of funds now asking for donations, but with this one, we have total control of how it's spent.
