PROGRESS REPORT:
He’s a fighter! We are on an upswing right now and hope he will be able to receive another round of chemo. He has been able to drink some water and a little milk and he can speak, slowly, but he’s been speaking! This has warmed my heart. We have a chance to witness an actual miracle here, so keep the prayers coming!

Please share and give if you’re able so I can remain by his side. I appreciate you all so much. Thank you.

UPDATE #4
This is a brutally aggressive cancer. I don’t know what to do except be here.
We got some results earlier from a ct done because of headaches and a little numbness on his right side and they had found a tiny bleed in the brain. Then he started having weird symptoms and his hemoglobin dropped back down to 5.8. They took him for a stroke protocol, which basically is just an urgent CT scan, To follow up on the one he already had and see if there was a change. Just know that the neurosurgeons already came in and said that they didn’t think that it was anything major and it was probably just related to the chemo and it is common for chemo to cause little blood vessels to pop. However, the symptom he had that was different from before is numbness in his lips, and the right side of his mouth wasn’t moving and so I ran to the nurses and told them right away. And that’s why they took him for a stroke protocol. Just heard the brain bleed has not grown so likely not a stroke, but not definite. He is receiving a transfusion now and an mri of the brain later. They need to get his numbers up. I just wanted to update everybody.please keep praying and if you have a couple extra dollars it will help me stay with him at the hospital. Thank you and love you!!

UPDATE #3
First dose of chemo was yesterday and seems to have gone without any major complications thus far. Praying the bloodwork stays stable over the next few days and we can go home and fight from there. Thank you for all the support and prayers. I appreciate you. Please continue to share this because the fight is far from over ❤️
Thank you

UPDATE #2

Jason is now in the cancer center and will be starting chemotherapy in the next day or so. He has to do it as an inpatient because his body is destroying his blood faster than it can make it. He’s had 4 more transfusions in that 4 days and they are concerned about his reaction to the chemo, so he needs to be monitored 24/7. Your donations are helping me stay at the family housing nearby the hospital. I want you all to know how much this means to us both so he’s not alone. Please continue to share this so I can continue to support him! I appreciate your support more than I could ever repay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all. Please continue to pray for his fight!!!

UPDATE: We are facing the scariest of times. We had to come back to the hospital and after more tests, we were told that the cancer is very aggressive and spreading rapidly. Chemotherapy is supposed to start tomorrow. Please pray with as much meaning as you can that he can fight this. Please.

It all started with a sneeze that threw out his back, which led to a visit to the emergency room. From there, there were CTs, MRIs, blood tests, admission to the hospital, transfusions, meds, more tests, more images, and the final diagnosis that nobody wants to hear, stage 4 metastatic adenocarcinoma. Our lives are forever changed. In order to help us through this fight for his life, I ask if you can find it in your heart to help with some bare necessities: gas, food, etc. His treatments/doctors are about 2 hours away from home, and we only have my income to manage us through.

I thank you for all you can do, even if you can only afford a prayer.

Jason is my best friend, my love, my joker. Please help if you are able.
