Help Matt with his medical expenses

Hi,I’m doing a go fund me page for my ex husband who most of you all know,Matt Wilke. Matt and I have two boys together Austin 21 and Mike 18. We have a great relationship even tho we are divorced. We raise two great kids together and I’m asking for help for Matt. In 2014 Matt found out he had stage 4 melanoma skin cancer. He had surgery and they removed 7 of his lymph nodes. Two came back with cancer. He did experimental chemo treatment. One month he had chemo for an hour a day for 5 days. After that he received shots 2-3 times a week for about 8 weeks. The shots made him very sick so they tried to lower the dose 3 times. They couldn’t lower the dose anymore so he decided to quit chemo. He knew the risk of quitting treatment but it had made his so sick. He was to do the shots for 52 weeks. He went and did scans and blood work like he was suppose to and they always turned out great. His cancer was in remission. Well in November Matt was rushed to the ER for severe abdominal pain. They did X-rays,ct scans bloodwork and the doctor came in saying he had a large mass between his pancreas and liver. They did a biopsy a few days later and the doctor came back and told him his mass was 7.7 centimeters which is the size of a large peach and was stage 4 cancer. The cancer was contained only in the mass. He was released the day before Thanksgiving and I had to sit down and tell the boys their dads cancer had returned. Telling them 7 years ago was one of the hardest things we had to do because they were only 11-14. Their older now but that pain of having to tell them again was just like the first time. They haven’t seen their dad since early January. The oncologist said they could not go in and do surgery to remove the mass because of the size and location of the mass. Matt started chemo Dec 28,2020 and has to go every 20 days. His chemo is 3 chemo medicines in one which is about 2 hours long. He is starting to do the chemo every 10 days in March. The end of March they said they will do scans of his mass to see if it has shrunk. They need to get his mass to a reasonable size to go in and remove. When that time comes Matt will have to do chemotherapy for 6-8 months. He has been a truck driver since he was 21. He has been with his company Estees now for over 15 years. He is on short term disability and that pretty much covers his insurance. He is asking for help to cover medical bills. Right now he isn’t sure how much these chemo treatments are. He just got caught up last year on all his medical bills from his first cancer treatment. Any little bit will help and he really appreciates it. I’m asking if you can share this on your page.
