Hey All,

I’m asking for help to save my mom’s life. This is especially poignant for me as my aunt recently passed due to the same type of cancer that my mom is now fighting.

A little background; in August of 2018 after 1 urgent care, 3 emergency room visits in 3 hospitals, and numerous calls to doctors, my mom was admitted to the hospital for what seemed like severe constipation, but was in fact, a cancerous tumor completely blocking her colon. The operation to remove the tumor and resection her colon was a success; however, the biopsy revealed that the cancer had penetrated some lymph nodes and she was diagnosed with stage 3B colon cancer. At the same time new owners of the building she has been living in for more than 20 years were trying to evict her. With the help of family and friends, she was able to take time away from work to rest, heal, and fight this unlawful eviction (she won BTW but it cost). She quickly returned to healing others through massage. But that was only the beginning of my mom's healing journey.

Over the past year, she has been on and off of chemotherapy medication, seen numerous oncologists and other doctors in both traditional and alternative modalities, read a large number of books, watched countless videos and researched a multitude of alternative therapies and diets in search of the most viable treatment plan. She has made herself a guinea pig for ‘snake oil’ and viable remedies alike. In all of this time, she has not succumbed to fear or doubt, and has continued to show up for others in remarkable ways. Shortly after recovering from her own surgery she helped nurse me back to health after my cancer surgery. She continues to heal others through massage and over 40 years of experience in the healing arts. She’s the first to volunteer if someone needs help, donates time to temple projects, writes, creates and brings joy to her friends' lives. There is so much to live for.

But the chemotherapy does not seem to be helping. Her blood tests have been coming back with mixed results, and she recently received news that her blood test was showing higher cancer indicators than ever before. While this is alarming, there is still so much cause for hope. As a healer herself, she doesn't want to ask others for help. But at this point, help is what she needs to save her life. In talking with friends and cross referencing with health professionals myself, several alternative treatments pop up as potentially lifesaving. Hyperbaric chamber oxygen treatments paired with intravenous vitamin C brought a friend back from stage 4, inoperable cancer throughout her body. She is now cancer free. The same treatment paired with stem cell transplants brought another family friend back from stage 4 lung cancer. He is now cancer free. The stories like this continue, but I’m not telling their stories; I am telling my Mom's and she is currently unable to afford these treatments. If she were to go to a clinic it would cost upwards of $40,000 but if she instead creates a protocol using most of the same methods proven effective it will cost far less.

Hyperbaric Chamber treatment consists of 2-3 one hour sessions per day, 6 days a week, for roughly 2 months. The cost for this is $150 per session, or $4,000 for 6 weeks of unlimited use.

Intravenous vitamin C is recommended 3Xs a week at roughly $100 per injection.

Acupuncture is $80.00 per treatment (1x a week)

There are other things that can help her as well but we need to start somewhere. Obviously we are asking for money to help with all of these costs but also please send her good energy, love and if you have any expertise in any healing arts (ie: massage, acupuncture, Reiki, psychology, hypnotherapy…,) live in the Los Angeles area and can donate some of your time and talents, they would be so greatly appreciated! 

I know that my mom’s gratitude and love towards all of you stretches beyond the scope that words can convey. I also know that through all of this, many of you have already shown such great support. Thank you. Thank you for helping my mom push on to live more happy days. Thank you for taking the time to read my plea and for any support you are able to offer moving forward. I’m hopeful that together, she can pull through this, and we can all be better for it.
