This fundraiser is for James Guilliams who, just a few weeks ago was a healthy, active guy, living life to the fullest! What started as a stomach ache, quickly progressed into a full blown medical emergency. After the pain worsened and at the urging of his wife, Lilly, he went to the emergency room. It was thought he had diverticulitis, an inflamation of the intestinal tract, but it ended up being much more severe.

A few days into his hospitalization he was rushed into emergency surgery for a perforated bowel. Toxins had been leaking into his abdomen for days and doctors were suprised he wasn't much more sick than he appeared. The hole in the intestine was fixed but the battle continues. Almost 2 weeks later he is fighting an infection and still hospitalized with an internal battle raging as his body continues to fight off the bacteria.

The people that love him most are at his bedside, with their lives on hold. His wife is missing work and James will be unable to work for some time after he is released.
