My name is mohammed, and I am writing these words from a place of pain and despair. We are a family of 12, most of us young children under the age of ten. We live in Gaza, where the cold is merciless, and hunger eats away at us day by day.

we can barely afford a meal to ease the hunger of the children. The prices of everything have become unbearable; a tent to shelter us from the freezing cold now costs over $200, and providing food for just one week for our family costs more than $300.

I am pleading with you to help us. Our dream is very simple: just a tent to protect us from the harsh winter, food to fill the empty stomachs of our starving children, and treatment to save my father's life.
