Hello, my name is Olivia. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, raised in Cincinnati, OH and live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm here to raise funds for my Ukrainian family, all of whom have been displaced due to Russia's attack on Feb 24th.

 

My mom, who was enjoying retirement back in her hometown of Kyiv, was forced to flee with only a backpack. It's a miracle she got out in time, there were so many hurdles, but I'm happy to have her finally safe with me in LA. I'm currently working on getting her some basic necessities and any medical care she may need. Shortly I will be looking to get her a spot of her own, so I can definitely use some support with rising rent prices!

 

My cousin sent his wife and two young kids out of Kyiv shortly before the invasion. They have been living elsewhere for almost two months, during which he and his wife have not been able to work and earn a living. I want to use a part of the funds gathered here to bolster them in this difficult time.

 

Last but not least, I want to help my sister, who has also been forced to leave her home and resume work from a safer remote location. She is very involved in the non-profit sector and is currently doing everything in her power to support the fight for Ukraine.

 

The funds collected here will be split equally among my family members mentioned above.
