Hello, my name is Jacqui Vela. My cousin Michael Vela was recently diagnosed with Leukemia for a second time. This time around, he will be needing a bone marrow transplant, which he and his family will have to travel out of town for. The first time Michael beat cancer, he was in treatment for 2 ½ years. He was cancer-free for a little shy of a year, and now this second time around, he will be fighting once again.

The donations will be used to pay for Michael’s treatment this second time around, as well as travel expenses for the 3-6 months he and his family are expected to be out of town for the bone marrow transplant. To those who donated the first time around, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your donations and prayers truly helped my family in a dire time of need, and this second time we are asking for that same help.
