Help Chase Get Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
This is Chase. He is 29 years old. On April 12th, he was rushed to the emergency room. His hernia had twisted and was severely infected. Unfortunately, he is overweight and was not able to get the hernia surgery he needed. They did surgery to untwist his intestines. Now his muscles are not connected, and his skin is the only thing keeping everything from spilling out of him. The doctors told us he has to lose 200 pounds to be able to reconnect the muscle in his stomach.
Currently, he is living in a hotel. We lost our apartment, and with the hernia as bad as it is, he can't live in the car anymore. We’re asking for help to pay for medical bills and to get him on Ozempic. If we could get him on Ozempic, he would be able to lose the 200 pounds needed to have the surgery. He’s too young to give up on his life. Depression is hitting hard. With no way to support his family, he is feeling very hopeless. Disability and Social Security told us it will be over two years before he will be able to get money. How is he supposed to live or get the things he needs for the surgery if he can’t even have a paycheck or work? Please help if you can.
