Help Martine give Benny a fighting chance

As I’m sure you know Martine has been stuck being one of my closest friends for a long time and she is one of the most selfless and generous people I’ve ever met.
She seriously loves her cats and right now Benny is really not well. She’s had a rough few weeks trying to get to the root of the problem and now the problem has been identified it’s left her in a difficult position as she’s paid everything she can afford to towards his care.
Below is an explanation of what’s going on from mart:
“For the past 5-6 weeks I’ve been back and forth to the vets with Benny. The first vets i went too weren’t very helpful and seemed to rubbish my thoughts that there was something wrong and just diagnosed him with cystitis. I was back there again a week later insisting there was more to it and they didn’t listen to I went to get a second opinion at a different vets.
The next vets I went to have been nothing short of amazing this past month and took my concerns seriously and investigated. After various blood tests, other sample tests, ultrasounds and X-ray they have discovered a tumour towards his lower intestine that is pressing on areas causing the inability to go to the toilet. Because of where it’s located it’s a tricky procedure but surgery is the only way they can see if they can definitely do something for him.
I’ve already paid out nearly £1.5k these past few weeks and don’t have the funds anymore to enable me to continue with being able to do everything possible to try and help Benny but I can’t live with myself if I don’t source the funds to make sure I’ve done everything I possibly can. All in all it’s looking like it’ll be at least another £2k depending on what they can do. I care about Benny more than anything in the world and wouldn’t ever even think about asking for outside help usually, but as it’s for him, I have to.”
