Sitting in the waiting room while I await the results from my mother's surgery was excruciating. A tumor, 3.5 centimeters large, has invaded my mother's intestinal track by her colon. As the hours passed by I knew the the dr felt the results may not be the best news. However, we were hopeful. 3.5 hours past and finally the dr walked out of surgery. He explained to me it was in fact the worst news. Stage 4 colon cancer and it had spread... And he wasnt able to get it all. 

Mama was already worried about bills. But now we worry more than ever. Although we are trying to get Medicaid for her to cover her healthcare, we still have normal living expenses as we move forward. With her no longer able to be employed, she will be coming to stay with me which will require me to stay home more. I'll need to quarantine bc of her immune system. We will have drs appointments and other financial obligations that come up and we just need temporary help while we adjust to our new normal. 

Please help. This isn't to line our pocket books or to just beg. My mom needs real help. She is good and deserving of a comfortable life. We need her to not worry about money so that she can heal and fight this comfortably, safely and stress free. Thank you for everything. Our entire family appreciates all of your prayers and assistance.
