The Newel Family Support Fund
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ian (Mill Woods) Newel. Ian passed away June 17, 2017 at the age of 38. For everyone who knew Ian, they knew he was an unshakeable fan of Mike Tyson, Magic Johnson, the L.A. Lakers, the Oakland Raiders, and Notre Dame further reflecting his fighting Irish spirit. Above all else, Ian was a gentle giant and a devoted husband and father who relentlessly loved his family and friends.
As parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts, brothers and sisters, we are responsible for ensuring our families have all that they need to grow and prosper. We toil tirelessly to ensure daily essentials are available and when blessed, we stash a little bit on the side in an effort to lay down a foundation for our families future.
But what do we do when something tragic happens? The sudden impact of loss affects our ability to fulfill the plans we as families have so lovingly crafted.
When tragedies, like the unexpected loss of our dear friend Ian occur, we as families focus all of our energies on providing the immediate comfort that the departed's family needs to heal.
Because we love Michelle, Brendan, and Teagan as our own family, this is the right thing to do. But as family, it's not the only thing we can do.
As Ian's family works through the process of paving his path to the Lord, let us, as family, do what we can to help minimize Michelle's "worldly" distractions. Let us carry a bit of her future burden as she sets to work today on a new plan for her family.
Help us raise funds for the Newel family especially Ian's two children, Teagan and Brendan. Any amount, big or small can help tremendously and all the love and support recieved is absolutely appreciated. Love, light and blessings to all.
