BaMOA Uniform Campaign

We are excited to announce that the Atlanta Public School Board has approved D. H. Stanton Elementary School's request to change its name to The Barack and Michelle Obama Academy. The name change was initiated by the local school governance team, which is comprised of parents, community members, partners and faculty. This name change seeks to further inspire our school community and continue this path of success for its students.

As a result of the name change, we have also changed our school crest, colors and uniforms. In an effort to assist our parents as we transition, we are launching a Uniform Campaign to purchase new school uniforms for the students of Barack & Michelle Obama Academy. Our goal is to provide one uniform to every student for SY17-18. With a cost of $30 per uniform, outfitting the entire school will cost nearly $7,800!

We invite all alumni, friends, community members and partners to donate to the Barack & Michelle Obama Academy Uniform Campaign.

Sincerely,

The D H Stanton Elementary School PTA
(soon to be the Barack & Michelle Obama Academy PTA)
