Unexpected passing of Paul Devereaux

Paul passed in his sleep unexpectedly on his 69th birthday 04/20/2024. In lieu of flowers, please send a simple donation to help with funeral expenses for his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara Devereaux. He was born in Brooklyn and moved to Breezy Point with his family as a teen. Paulie was all about family and loved the New York Rangers and New York Jets. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by everyone he came in contact with. He made sure he got his lotto numbers in every night. He will be missed by all, he’s touched so many hearts and we still can’t even fathom it. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jeanette, and brother, Jimmy. Paulie told me last year he hopes that he goes before his wife, Barbara, because he could never live life without her.
Wake will be held Wednesday, April 24 between 5 and 8 PM at Dooley Funeral Home 218 N. Avenue W., Cranford NJ 07016.
Mass for Paul will be at Saint Helens, 1600 Rahway Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090 at 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 25.
