Please help protect Landon

Hi family,
I’m embarrassed to be making this but at this point I don’t have a choice. As many of you know I have been fighting a custody battle with my ex for years now. A year and a half ago the school called CPS on Landon’s dad and wife because they bruised him all over his arm, after speaking with the cops and CPS they substantiated the evidence and placed a restraining order that the judge didn’t take seriously and dropped. Since then Landon has continuously come home with bruises in the inside of his legs, arms and matching bruises on the tops of his shoulder blades. Landon refuses to talk about them. Since then he’s also changed emotionally. He can’t show me affection because he’s not “allowed” to. This last Friday I noticed bruises again and like always I asked how he got them, and like usual he didn’t want to talk about it. On Sunday thankfully he opened up to his aunt and told her that the same person as last time, his dads wife is still hurting him. He told me that he was scared and didn’t want to go back. I called the cops out to speak to him and there was a child abuse case filed as well as another restraining order placed. I filed for emergency custody of Landon and presented the judge with pictures of bruises restraining orders, violations of this last restraining order and the report of what Landon said himself to the cop (that he didn’t want to go back and that he was afraid). Yesterday I got the news that the judge denied it. Landon was supposed to go back with his dad last night but cried to me that he was scared and to please not send him back. I called the cops again to see what to do and they said I have every right not to send him back since he’s that afraid. At this point I am violating a court order and I am afraid of getting into trouble of course but I also got the approval from the police that I could also be charged with child neglect if I do send bim back.
We have a court date coming and I am terrified. I thought for sure with as much evidence that I had, the two restraining orders and with Landon stating several times that he is afraid of going back there would’ve ld be no way that they would deny it. The judge doesn’t look at me seriously because Danny has a lawyer and I don’t. I know this isn’t right and it shouldn’t be this way but it sadly is and I am desperate for help. All family lawyers that I’ve spoken to have required a 5,000 to 10,000 dollar retainer. We are living off of one income so we don’t have much after bills are paid. I understand that this is a lot to ask for which is why I am hoping if we all come together I can have a fighting chance to protect Landon.
