Help Fly Lucy Home!!
Donation protected
Rescued and saved by Good World Animal Rescue and Protection (GWARP), Lucy has the chance to fly to the U.S. to find her forever home. But, she can’t do it without your help.
This is Lucy’s story:
Never did Lucy imagine that the price for her hunger would be so high. She was starving on the streets. Scraps had become scarce. She found a local butcher shop, hoping to find grace and receive anything to eat. She became desperate and started approaching customers, hoping that they would see how hungry she was. Instead, they chased her away or simply ignored her and left thinking she was nothing but a pest. Fed up with the losing business, the store owner went after Lucy and struck her with an axe. That’s when Good World Animal Rescue and Protection (GWARP) rescued her.
With their efforts and compassion, combined with the resilience and fight she has is the reason this little girl is still alive today. Lucy underwent multiple surgeries to fix her face. She lost an eye, but that’s okay, she's here.
Lucy's story is not over yet. The goal is to raise enough money by Christmas to fly Lucy here, to the U.S., and find her forever family. No amount is too small.
