Marine Vietnam veteran, Sam Felton just lost his possessions and home in a tragic fire. He needs immediate short term help with funds to help him bridge the gap from the loss of his home, and all of his possessions until he can re-establish himself.
Sam (Frags) Felton was awarded the Navy Cross the second highest award for heroism in the USMC on June 11th 1969. He had three of his men on an LP 100 meters in front of Charlie 1/5 when a full scale ground attack began on the company's lines by the NVA. Mortars, B-40rockets, machine guns followed by a ground assault. Frags left on his own to venture in front of the lines to find and bring back his men. All three men were wounded. Frag was wounded, but managed to protect his men, and kill several NVA soldiers. Of the three wounded Marines, one died on the medevac chopper, but two survived.
