A friend in Need

Hi friends,
I’m starting this fundraiser for our dear friend Amy. Amy recently reached out to me from a very dark and scared place. She needs our help . As many of you know Amy is fiercely independent and asking for help is so hard for her. Amy , as many of you know is a social worker, so she is used to being the one helping. Combine that with not wanting to ask others to help because she is hyper aware of how so many of us are struggling right now because of the pandemic.
 Here is some back ground so you can better understand the situation.

Amy suffers from Crohn’s disease and is waiting to have surgery for herniated L4&L5 discs in her back.  Currently the Crohns has started causing extreme issues and she will undergo testing just prior to her surgery on the 4th to ensure she is able to tolerate surgery and hopeful find the cause for her recent flare ups.

Amy lives alone with her doggo Gigi who also has medical issues . Gigi has a condition that causes her to have seizures. She is Amy’s must precious babygirl. 

Amy has also gone without a paycheck for the last six weeks and burned through savings. She has bills still rolling in like the rest of us with no paycheck at this point.

Paperwork is in motion for FMLA and Catastrophic event , fingers crossed one is approved!

In the meantime Amy could really use cash, gift cards, groceries , pet supplies and house hold items. There is no pressure to give , please only if you can. Blessings and prayers are also so very much appreciated.
