Memorial

I am Daneel Gonzales and I am seeking fundraising to give the father of my son a proper memorial and funeral. Let me tell you a little about James Thomas.

James grew up in Wheaton and was the class of 99 at St. Francis of Assisi. He loved fishing all over Wheaton and loved the Chicago Cubs.

James was the most selfless and loyal person I have ever met. He shared his food with the homeless at the train station. He would give his clothes off his back to cold homeless people he came across. He made friends everywhere he went. He shared his snacks and drinks with numerous friends at the nursing home. He was also always so supportive of me and James was so proud to be a father.

James was such a strong fighter till the end. He passed away days away from his 42nd birthday. He suffered from Huntington's Disease for the last 12 years. Huntington's is a disease that is ALS, Parkinson, and Alzheimer's all at once.

James and his sister Nicki had such beautiful, unique souls. He would have wanted a proper send off and celebration of his life.
