Hello, my name is Molly Loveland,
Im the owner and director at Little Harvard Learning Center. Upon returning from Thanksgiving break I was so excited to start gearing up for our Christmas activities and get some extra cleaning done in the center. When I went out to our shed to get supplies I found that the shed had been broken into and items had been taken out including our carpet shampooer, yard tools, our weed eater, our brand new play equipment that had not yet even been set up and our new camera.
Most children we serve spend 45+ hrs a week in care, so it is so important that our center is constantly being updated and cleaned to provide the safest and most enjoyable learning space possible, having these items stolen from us really hurts our center, as we use the items regularly and we were looking forward to seeing the kids enjoy their new playground equipment.
I've just finished my first year as a business owner and have been working 60-70 hr weeks consistently over the last year to keep our center up and running and serving the families in our community.
This unplanned expense really puts a damper on our holiday plans as well as our morale in general, any donations will be used to replace our items and to provide supplies and toys to the children we serve here at Little Harvard.
