Lyle and Claire Dickey

Dear Friends,

I have had the privilege to work with Lyle Dickey, Landscape Manager for the Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) for over 8 years. He has worked for IHCA for over 19 years. Lyle and his lovely wife Claire have been married for 31 years and have 4 children; 3 boys, and a daughter, in their 20’s. Sadly, Claire has been battling breast cancer for several years now and the prognosis is critical. I consider Lyle and Claire my dearest friends and ask that you assist me in giving financially to their family during their time of need. Here are a few words from Claire about her cancer journey with Stage IV - Oligometastatic Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

" I have had 4 rounds of Doxorubicin (Red Devil) and Cyclophosphamide, and 12 rounds of Paclitaxel. Along with 6 months of Herceptin and Perjeta. I have had a double mastectomy as well as 8 weeks of radiation, I made it 18 months before the cancer came back. As of December it has been found in my Shoulder, Spine, Pelvic Bone, and has broken one of my ribs as well as my Right Fibula. I am currently on Chemo every three weeks with Kadcyla, which is a new chemo drug that is effective in stage 4 breast cancer. Stage IV - Oligometastatic Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Estrogen Positive, Progesterone Negative, HER2 Positive"
